Things to do in Pre:
Get a belt pouch (holds 5 items) from the Collector in Ashford City (not Ashford Abbey). Needs 5 worn belds from Bandit raiders.
or get 5 Scake Fins. That collector is just outside the gate of Ascalon.

Ashford or Ascalon City ?

There are 5 City's/outposts you can Map Travel to.
Ascalon, Ashford Abbey, Fort Ranik, Barradin Estate and Foibles Fair. (These are the places where you see a lot of players at the same time)

When I say Ashford CITY, I mean the town you see just outside the gate of Ashford Abbey, that means that you are alone ore with your party (in pre the max party sice is 2). (This the town where get Quests from Devona, Pitney)

Just left outside the gate of Ascalon City is the other collector for the Belt Pouch. Depending if you have skale fis or worn belds to take one collector or the other.

I don't know when I will be online as I'm really busy to get IP-Sec tunnels working at my home router.

Is that why I have to level you GW characters?  I don't mind  Now I can play with 12 char. 

If I could I renamed 1 of you char to the Sikkens Man for all the paint I've stored there.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.  I'll check (already found a collector on the hill between Ashford Abbey and Asford city, but he didn't have the belt.  I'll go search for the one outside Ascalon city then.

Already found 4 of the 5 outposts (just not fort Ranik). 

What level should I be before I can travel to post ?  (not that I have much time this week, but still, I'd like to know).

That depends to your plans.
In normal gameplay I would say around level 7

If you want to PvP with your PvE character then I would say 'when you did all your trainers' (useualy 3 for prim char and 2 for secondary char) and then so low as possible. The reason is that the PvP arenas have lvl limit. The first is 10 (then 15 and 20). If you come over with low level you are able to get further in the game (more skills/better armor) before you are not alowed to enter the lvl 10 anymore.

Don't get me wrong. It has no sence to enter a arena as lvl 4 (or the rest must be very good) It is just that you have a stronger char at level 9/10 when you were comin over.

PS: do Devonas Quests. Some of those give skillpoints. U can use skill points to buy new skills.
