As EA is closing more and more that involves Westwood, I downloaded the fix and will attach it to this thread so that IF EA closes the FTP server, people can download the fix here :)

Hmmm, it is like that the only supermarket is closing, and that you must get all the stuff you need before you are too late.
Is there more what needs to be saved from the deleting habit of EA?

It reminds me of when 3DFX went bust. All us loyal voodoo owners were suddenly without support/drivers.

Not that I know of, but if one knows something that could be saved, be sure to post it here :)

I found a slightly odd problem last night with Emperor,
when I started the game the various screens I.E. options screen, multiplayer/skirmish screen and the log in screen moved onto my screen really slowly.
At first I thought it was my Firewall but after considerable troubleshooting, I discovered it was the Creative Sound Blaster Live drivers, the newest one isn't compatible properly with Windows XP Pro.

So I rolled back the driver and it worked again without problems !

well you must have the same drivers as him once he roll them back. because he only said that his new drivers weren't working.
