we're not completely sure what to do with the ain site yet and the entire structure of sub-pages ...
we also need to find some people to be willing to maintain those sub-pages ..

so, untill we've fully figured out that bit we'll post more about it ....

Thanks for the offer. I am sure we could use some help. Do you have any examples of your skills for us to review?

what makes you think its frontpage?
it just looks that way :)
because of the frameset >. btw why am i able to move it!
and the buttons.

some hints maybe>>
* get rid of the frameborder or the frames
* Put a logo/header at the top
* make textlinks in a nice table

and learning basic php (not even the databasestuff) could help you.
especially because it's a lot easier to work with.

and you know the basic HTML.
only one other person in my class knows that and we had to make a website this semester. (you don't want to know what the FAQ's are in that case :( )

and i made that one basic HTML to :)
if you want to see it i'll mail it without the schooltext inside :)

<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0">

I prefer Frontpage to And create my site with is same as you did. For some specific functions mayby Adobe GoLife but Frontpage just works faster.

Personally I like ASP more then PHP.. . but he. .you can't have it all ;)

I use fixed sized tables ( the old fasioned way :P ) or layers to place things where I want them.

Irionically my site was create with FrontPage but IE doesn't display it correct ;)

do what most people do. . go to a site you like. . then steal their code. . ;)

and by-the-way. Not bad for a first site. . . I couldn't even work with frames in my first couple of pages. .. :P

and by looking at other sites you learn how it works so you understand how it works (at least the HTMLpart
i've learned HTML/CSS and PHP in the past 3 jears by just trying and searching.
(have a programming background in pascal what made the PHP easier but still  ;) )
experimenting is the best way to learn. If it still doesn't work after 30 tries then just steal it and edit it :)
