Those xeon's isn't my biggest problem, my problem is time. I' very busy at the moment with work and some private stuff that I have very little time to get to stores (read as decent stores who have watercooling en dual-cpu stuff) or the postoffice. The first moment I have time again is friday next week for my graphics card and memory. I've I let it come by mail, then I have to hope I can find the time to go to the postoffice. So I told myself I wanted the rig up and running the 1st week of october, and so far it won't be a problem.
My PSU problem is solved by the way, I made myself a cableadapter, I abused an old PSU for it. The 8-pin connector is a small version of the 20-pins ATX connector, a standard molex is to big, so with a very sharp cutting knife I reduced the connector from 20-pins to 8-pins. The 8 loose wires it soldered to a molex and now it fits.
But I won't be building my rig until I got everything here until the last screw, so when I begin I can finish it, I will make pictures of course.
And about gaming, I don't think it will be a problem. I'm going to use WinXP Pro + SP1, and I must say, I never had big problems with games in the past with any system, I always choose my PC-components with great care, won't go for lowbudget shit. I've done a lot of research about Dual Xeon, it isn't a thing I decided in one night. But time has got to learn, I don't hurry myself with it, and that's the best thing to start with I think. But thank you for your interest Number6, I really like it when people respond. And also the people who already responded and will respond in the future, also thanks.
The only disadvantage I will have with the rig, is that I have to run server all the time with Unreal Tournament
