Looks like the new Nintendo system is living up to its name to me. I don't know how I feel about this new design until I try it for myself. To me it looks like Nintendo is the only video game company interested in trying new things. For that I have to give kudos to Nintendo. Sony and MS only seem interested in the status quo. Not very interesting to me.

it's also the only real next-gen console. Microsoft shouts it but has nothing next-gen on it. and playstation has eye-toy as only next-gen item. i liked the option to play old games on emulators and the design of the revolution but still this controller isn't something i like to do. maybe if see more they can win it back. skipping a gen won't be bad for me. (btw cubecontrollers can be connected to it so theres hope)

Seen it. . I am not going to buy a XboX 360. That's the only thing I know about the next Generation of consoles. :P

Currently my preferance is for the PS3, although if they make a really nice revolution count me in. I love to play some modern day Zelda. :)

For the controler.. . looks nice, although I am not going out fishing on my computer any day soon, playing pool soem sort of micado game or any thing like Nintndog's no matter how nice it might well be.

And like Number6 mentioned. Nintendo has the name for better games and revolutionising it's console. . . but then again. . I am not waiting to play the next number in the Mario sequel, find the laterst Zelda game or realse data for Metroid Prime on the Revolution. If they wnt me to buy Nintendo, they also need to find a revolutionary way to make a game nice without Mario swiging a basball bat or Yoshi in a race cart.

Since I have 3 kids the next Nintendo system is a definite purchase for me when it comes out. My kids have quite a huge Gamecube/DS/GBA/N64/SNES/NES collection :)

I must admit I have been a Nintendo fan since the early 1980's when Donkey Kong came out. The newer versions of their franchise games are not too thrilling to me either since they are basically remakes of the classics with better graphics/sound. The newer games are more interesting to my children who never played the originals. It's funny to see my kids reaction to the older games when I show them to them. They can't fathom playing games with such crude graphics.

I have the same at times when I occasionally undust my NES and play the origional Zelda, Battle of Olympus ar another 8bit game. can't even believe I liked it myself so much. And if I had access to the origionall Phillips computer I owned before that playing space invaders and a game called Froggy I would probably wonder why I even liked it.

Hope I don't need to buy the origionall NES games I used to have again for the Revolution for some strange reason (as I am quit sure the origional disk won't fit).

If I would have kids of my own think they get a Revolution. Although I am in it for the games, and I loved Zelda, although at present just that isn't enought for me to buy a Nintendo system.

mariokart DD
Zelda
Metroid
supersmash brothers melee
4 games that i really liked and i got the older zelda versions of the n64 and the NES on the cube to.
thinking of it.. half my games are nintendo only  ;D

and for the playback function they use emulators. (not sure if it works with payment, Nintendo didn't give much away)
and the cubegames can be played by inserting the disks ofcourse.

but still the main reason i like nintendo is because it's the only system with some good funny multiplayer games.
and the games i wanted on singleplayer where on the nintendo or on the PC (except for tekken and grand turismo)
mario party
mario kart
supersmash << played 1000+ hours multiplayer with friends
and more

btw try reconnecting the supernes  8)
even now huge fun
(nes is to slow for me now :( )
