i am deciding whether to buy "Apocalypse Now", the original edition, or "Apocalypse Now", the redux edition where more footage is added on. I was wondering what all of your opinions were if you have seen the movies. I have seen the original and loved it, and am looking forward towards the redux version.

I've got the Redux version here, seen both the original and redux. The extra scenes are nice, but they don't add that much extra to the movie itself.

I think Redux had the audio digitally remastered so that would be a good reason to get that version.

Can't tell you that, haven't compared mine with the original.

In the trailer for redux they mention that the movie had been digitally remastered.

i have the redux version now...i suppose it is good...but i would rather just watch the original...you can tell why the extra scenes were erased...they are most irrelevant...some contain nudity which kind of softens the "scare" effect the original movie contains
