Topic: MOHAA Breakthrough rear speakers

Hi all

I have a Creative Audigy 2, with a 5.1 speaker setup, and I am using the latest drivers. However, I can't seem to get sound from the rear speakers in MOHAA Breakthrough... I set the game to use "surround speakers" and even tried "quad" but no luck...


How do i get my rear speakers working?

Yep, they work in other games just fine!  Been playing Jedi Academy all week without issue.

Can't you get any sound at all, even if you choose the minimal sound setting (without any surround settings, ect) ?

Maybe you can try this: open up Creative sound mixer.
Click on speaker settings. Select the speaker arrangement you have (4.1,5.1 etc.) Make sure you have
Synchronize with Control Panel checked. Now goto right
side and click channel, this will test each  individual speaker. If they are working there go to Control Panel
and make sure the settings are correct there.Now go
into the MOH:BT install file and click on the configure.exe
file. Sometimes this will "pick-up" the changes you made.
If all else fails you might have to re-install the game.
