NFS High stakes Direct 3D

Hi guys,

anyone know a solution for why Direct 3D won`t work with NFS High stakes on a radeon 9600 pro?

And another problem, with NFS Hot Pursuit 2. It freezes my pc when I try to quit the game, I couldn`t find a solution for that yet. Also when starting it makes a ping noise (windows tone) and then the intro starts.

Win 98Se with Dx9.0b and ati 3.8 driver (don`t want 3.9 yet)

Have you downloaded/installed the latest patch for the game? Also, could you attach DxDiag when you get a chance?

it works now, needed to reinstall both games ....again...*shrugs*
dunno just worked after the 4th or so reinstallation
