Topic: Help Game crashing

My pc was just reinstalled windows on it and now i get problems all the time, i have been trying to run C&C generals but to no avail... What is wrong i will post the content of the DXDIAG.txt here because i cant attach it....

The errors i get are:

Technical difficulties - graphics card may not be supported, may be overheating hardware or a virus.

Serious Error -  game must be shut down

Just freezes...

To check if it's heat, you could try playing with the computer case off and if possible, have an external fan blow cool air in the pc.

Your graphics card is supported and after a clean install of Windows, I doubt you'll have a virus.

Have you updated your VIA chipset drivers ?

Do you know the brand/model of your motherboard? It would help knowing that.

it looks like you have a via chipset. you need to download the 4 in 1 drivers to update your mother board.

you can check this with a program called Sandra.

this is not a sure fix in most cases. most likely it's  incompatible ram. it's a bit of a long story.
