This site has decided to start their own clan. If you want to join, post here. We use the following nick setup: Nickname [GH]

When you reply here, make sure you let us know what game(s) you play. If none of the staff is playing those games, a clan admin for that specific game can/will be appointed by the staff.

Be aware that this clan is for fun. Obviously the strive is to win. But if for whatever reason we loose whatever battle, smile and continue with the next. In no way we will accept any rudeness towards others. Rudeness will result in a ban from the clan. If you feel any of the GH members is rude, please let one of the GameHeaven staff know and we'll deal with it swiftly.

Dude,

I was thinking ... and I havent seen anyone on here post it yet ... but what about a GH clan on Planetside ?
Seeing as this is a major played game anyway ... it could be cool to set up a GH clan for that game.

Bako, feel free to set it up. A good idea might be to get in touch with Rottevis as he seems to be playing it a lot as well. As it seems, being a clan admin with Planetside may require a lot of work. If Rottevis wants to join, you may be able to share the load.

Be aware of what I posted in my first post though...

Well, this is what PlanetSide has to say about creating an Outfil:

An Outfit in PlanetSide is a collection of players that exists even after the players have logged out of the game. Forming an Outfit requires the formation of a 10-player Squad where each player does not already belong to an Outfit. The Squad Leader clicks on the Outfit Button and everyone else is then presented with a dialog box asking them if they want to join the Outfit. If they all say yes, then the Outfit is formed and the Squad Leader, who is now also the Outfit leader may choose an Outfit Logo that will now appear on the armor and vehicles of members in the Outfit.
Joining an Outfit is advantageous because it will make finding and forming Squads easier and additionally add organization to multi-Squad strikes against facilities or even against entire continents

If RotteVis is willing to create an outfil .. I'll see what I can do about getting the other people hooked to the GH clan aswell.

I´ve had the idea of creating an outfit on Planetside for a couple of days. I´ve done also a lot of research about it. The idea of the Gameheaven outfit is good, but with me and Bako we only have 2 out of 10 and almost everybody is in an outfit, so we need 8 others to leave their current ones or recruit the noobs in the sanctuary. Also we need a reliable TS-server, maybe a website and some tactics. Like Doc said, it´s a lot of work and doing it together is an option for me. I also want everybody on this forum playing planetside and like to take part to report in

I am looking into running a teamspeak server ffrom my home linux server. If I can get it to work I will leave it on 24/7.

I've been talking to some guys and maybe we can reach that minimum of 10 .... but I'll let you know on that once I've spoken to everybody ....
the thing is ... we would have to create the Outfit in one of the 3 empires ....
What do you think

Personally I would say NC ..... but I can be persuated to do a VS Outfit aswell ....

Once #6 has his TS server up, we could use that one .... (hopefully)

I only have been playing TR so far, but I have no problem with switching Empire, just tell me what you want and I´ll adapt. I only wonder if I keep my BR when I switch empire, or do I have to start over again?

RotteVis, you don't need to switch if you don't want .. you can just get another character on the same server ... but only under a different name ....
I have Bako on NC (newly created) and Zarquon on VS ... most guys on there that I know have 2 accounts on the same server .... but you can only have 2 and not more .... this is since one of the latest patches ...

We intend to start a clan with any game people want. So let's say you play Generals a lot, we'll start one with Generals as well. So it's not restricted to a specific game

BF1942 & Desert Combat Mod ==> RotteVis[GH]
S.A.S. (UT2003 mod) ==> RotteVis[GH]
Generals & Zero Hour ==> RotteVis[GH] (mostly on LAN´s)

Anyway, at this time the only game I am playing online for a considerable amount of time is Red Fraction. From time to time Ghost Recon.
But I don't think to have enough time at the moment to play Ghost Recon next to my own clann games.

Think I should be able to run a Teamspeak backup server for GameHeaven.. . just in case it should get really crowded on the main TeamSpeak server.

Name for both Red Fraction and Ghost Recon [ if I should start playing it ] are ofcourse gryphon [GH] . ..

I'm not sure yet ... am asking the others, but if it's up to me, I'd go for NC ... love their MAX' and their Heavy tank the Vanguard .. but I also love the MAX' from VS and their MAG-rider .... I have asked guys from both empires to see what their responce would be .... if you know more guys that are willing to join, then we'll see what votes say I guess .... agreed

If people do join the clan for a specific game, could you ask them to register here and post that they want to join ? That way we are able to track the progress.

If enough people join the clan for a specific game, I will add a clan board for that specific game.

Zarquon in VS
Bako in NC
Yesterday I had ISP problems all day so I couldn't try and change them, but I will try to change them to Zarquon [GH] and Bako [GH].

Ok, dunno how many games support this but I've let my 'creative' brain run a bit and now it's tired ... but maybe we could use a Clan Logo ?
I've taken the liberty of looking and altering some ...... tell me what you think ?
Personally I like the first one ... maybe put GameHeaven on there aswell, or GameHeaven Clan ??

Lol, i like the last one. BTW. I'm in. I have many games That I can do. Medieval: Total War. Maybe Warcraft III/Starcraft. Along with C&C Renegade. (which id love to do)
