Finding driver for unknown device
«

There is a PCI multimedia card in my comp, for which the drivers are not installed. I have no idea what drivers I need for it - is there a way to find out?
Probably as a result of the above my comp won't display more than 16 colors. If this is irrelevant, does anyone know how to fix this (I know it can display 256 colors).

Have you checked if any device is missing in your hardware listing ? Usually unknown hardware is a Soundcard, modem, ect. If you can't select more then 16 colors, I'd suggest to see if your video card shows up in the listing.

you can install Aida32 to check the hardware ID. Usually that gives you a modell number and manufacturer. You should be able to fid the drivers at that point.
