General Discussion / Long time no see :)
« Last post by number6 on February 26, 2014, 11:11:13 am »
Hello all,

Nice to see the site is still up.  I was getting all nostalgic today so I logged into the site. Sorry I have been away for a while. I promise to check in more frequently. How has everyone been?

For me life has been busy. I am doing a lot more web based programming at work which I enjoy. My daughter is in her second year of college and my boys are in high school. It is amazing how time flies.  I assume you all play video games still? Right now I am playing Bioshock Infinite.  I love the Bioshock series. Last year I played a lot of Skyrim which is my favorite game of all time right now.

Later,
Eric

It sounds lovely.  Especially the part where you can build stuff yourself and if it's good enough they will use it in the game ?  Ok, what's the chance of that happening, but still.   Last time something of mine was in a game was a tombstone with my name (Raisor) on it in Sacred, on a graveyard they put in the game with graves for all the betatesters.   ;D

Gotta say it sounds very good: The fact everything can be destroyed sounds great. I love the idea of being able to build stuff - though it makes me wonder what happens if someone e3lse tries to destroy it! :) And the way the AI works sounds very appealing as well - they make it sound as if the world is a living changing environment.

Of course the proof is in the pudding. I might give it a go.

And? How is it?

Graphics are quite good, no complaints in this area. As for the game play, it's easy to play. The route for quests is marked, same for the areas where you need to go to in your map. You'll have to look into the whole skills setup though, which may take a bit of time. Story seems to be okay, though could have been better IMHO. As far as I have been able to tell, it's one of the better MMO's since WoW. It doesn't beat WoW though, but nevertheless fun to play. Overall rating I would give the game is a 7.5 out of 10.
