Just found a good registry cleaner. You don't need to be a wizard to use it and it's pretty handy.

I intended to put a link here to a free registry cleaner. But now I see that the newest version needs to be paid for. And I can see no way to download an older free version, except for 30-day trials.

The program was RegCleaner btw.
